Day 9 - 7/6/2019 - 上帝的恩典 His Grace

This is Angela, writing the blog for today.
It is too crazy how fast the time could pass, now is the second last day for us to stay in Taiwan.
When I think about how we had discussions in the basement, it all felt like last week and then "!" here we are at the end of the week
A week is always too soon...
我是恩潔, 又來寫中英版的部落格了
很難想像今天居然會是這次短宣行程結束倒數的第二天 
對我來說 和大家一起在地下室開會 感覺才是上個禮拜的事
結果這禮拜 '啪!' 的就過了 說明一個禮拜真的很短


But within this one week, we share the good news of the gospel to kids who probably have never heard of the gospel.
We use the Wordless Book and teach Bible stories and build good relationships with the kids. 
It can be hard to measure how much do the kids understand about the context, but I know the rest is in His hands. We sowed the seeds and with God's work, it can grow into a tree with big branches.
但是我們用這一週 來告訴他們福音這大好的消息
在台灣很多家庭都是信仰傳統信仰 和拜祖先 所以對福音也是很陌生的
能在一個禮拜裡做的 真的不多
但是我們在這一週裡 告訴他們聖經故事, 好好對待他們
讓他們了解福音 也就種下小種子 剩下的收割 就是等待上帝


Last night, us three girls celebrate Cherry's 18th birthday
I am so grateful for having Cherry and her mom as our host family.
We also share our thoughts on the VBS and outlook for the future
It is just amazing to become so close to each other and grow together in Christ!
7月6號是 Cherry 的生日
在5號晚上 我們 (Amy, Nicole, 我, Cherry媽媽) 一起幫Cherry慶生
Cherry開放他們的家庭 給我們3個女生住
我真的很感謝上帝 我們是被Cherry家接待
慶祝快接近尾聲時  
大家都分享了 對於這一周的想法
心裡都是滿滿的感謝
也讚美上帝因為祂的愛 所以我們在一起相聚
是多麼美好奇妙!


Today is our one day trip to Tainan!
We visit the coffee farm, Sicao Green Tunnel, YuGwan Island Beach, and An-Ping Old Street
On the way back, we sing karaoke 
It sure is a great day with great people
今天是台南一日遊
大家舒緩舒緩這一周緊繃的情緒
還有更認識彼此
一開始先去參訪了咖啡園 (仙湖農場)
吃完午餐後
去坐紅樹林小艇 (陰晴不定)
漁光島沙灘
安平古街
回程(吼破喉嚨的K歌)


我一定會捨不得離開大家

Prayer Request  代禱事項

• Pray for Chu (a first-grade boy on my team), his parent says he becomes more active in a good way during this week. He also asks me for a Bible to take home on the last day. Pray that he could come to Sunday school and willing to learn more about God
• Pray for Kevin (6th grader boy on Jonathan's team), he said he would like to be one of the leaders for next year's VBS. Pray he could join a youth group and grow in faith
• Pray for Terry (6th grader boy on Adam's team), he asks a lot of question about Christian beliefs during English lesson. Maybe soften his heart, let God speak to him
• Pray for every kid who raises their hand during the Altar Call (接受耶穌的禱告)
• Pray for every youth that we could remember how God works through us and keep growing in Him together
• Pray for our health condition
• Pray for the future flight
