Day 4 - 7/3/18 - Fear Fading, God Growing

Image
Jeremy “He must become greater, I must become less”  John 3:30 Over the course of this missions trip, I’ve been feeling more than ever that my fears are being taken away one by one, that my neuroses and worries are gradually disappearing, and that Jeremy, my oh so flawed self, is being subsumed by the LORD’s plan. I couldn’t be more grateful to Him for demonstrating his power in such a potent way, in a way that’s so helpful to the children and to us, the youth. Psalm 131 O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. Now, onto a recap of today's events: After staying up late last night preparing teaching materials, Emily and I had a hard time waking up this morning, repeatedly sleeping through alarm ...

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,  baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,   and teaching  them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you  always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 Hey everybody! Adam here, writing my first full blog. Before I delve into today's action-packed adventure of a day, I just want to say a  genuine   thank you to all of our supporters both at Taiwan and back at home. No matter where you are, no matter where how you are reading our blogs or hearing about our mission, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Through your prayers and support, God has truly shown why He is so powerful and amazing. Praise the Lord! Now, time to unravel today's events. If I could sum up our day in 2 words, they would be "Godly" and "tiring." Hopefully you'll understand and sympathize with my feelings by the end of this blog. :) In the mor...
